Application for iTunes U Resources Project due April 25

The Confederation of Oregon School Administrators (COSA), in partnership with Apple, is conducting a two-day work session to help expand instructional resources in the State of Oregon, and we eagerly invite you to participate.

Date: May 15-16 (Thursday-Friday)
Location: Salem
Application due date: April 25
(PPS will compensate all participants and cover substitutes, mileage, meals, and lodging)

Participants will work in small teams of teachers from throughout Oregon to develop a middle or high school level course in math, science, English language arts, and social studies. COSA and Apple will provide training prior to the work session on the use of Apple tools to develop these instructional tools (each participant needs to have access to a computer and an iPad).

After May 16, each team will continue to collaborate on the courses virtually so that the project is ready to launch by June 19. (PPS will compensate participants for the additional time devoted to the project.)

If you are interested in participating, please contact Andy Wheeler [wheeler(at)pps(dot)net] as soon as possible to request an application form.
