STEM Week Oregon is a state-wide movement to
raise awareness, celebrate and engage young people in activities involving
science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).

- Participate

Educators (in-school and out-of-school): Incorporate
fun and innovative STEM activities into your classroom or program anytime from
May 2 – May 10 2015. Encourage your school, organization and fellow educators
to do the same!
Principals: Engage your entire school in celebrating STEM Day. Encourage each teacher in every subject to celebrate STEM in a creative way
Students: Get excited about STEM and join in your classroom STEM Day activities! Find out more ways you can get involved in STEM learning outside of school.
Community Organizations: Host STEM activities for youth and families in your community to generate excitement for STEM.
Companies and STEM Professionals: Sign-up for Oregon Connections to volunteer at a local school, speak about your exciting STEM career, or host a field trip for students at your business for local students.
Colleges and Universities: Raise STEM awareness on your campus by hosting community STEM activities for students and/or the broader community, encourage your students to partner with local K-12 institutions. Encourage your faculty to Sign-up for Oregon Connections where they can connect with K-12 counterparts, share their research, or host a STEM related field trip.
