Live S.E.T. (Sound Engineering for Teens)

Live S.E.T. (Sound Engineering for Teens) is a free sound engineering class for high school students, a  first-of-its-kind program for Portland's high school students that will develop practical and theoretical skills in the art and science of live sound engineering and running a music venue.

Sessions will take place over the course of three weekends (Saturday and Sundays from 11am-2pm) at the locally renowned music venue Mississipi Studios. Top tier professional sound engineers Jason Powers and Nalin Silva will serve as instructors. Each weekend students will take part in hands-on, in depth sessions to learn the basics of sound engineering. The program will culminate in a final, public concert fully engineered by the students.

Applications for the Fall 2015 session are due at midnight on October 23, 2015.
