More DIBELS Training

The Department of Instruction, Curriculum, and Assessment has identified funds to ensure that all teachers who have not yet received DIBELS training will have another opportunity to attend before the next benchmark testing window.  We will offer this training on Tuesday, March 17th. Teachers who attend will be given a chartfield by the presenters the day of the training. Please encourage teachers to sign up on the Learning Campus​.

PK-8 Literacy Assessment Window and Training Registration

The Fall Literacy Assessment Window is September 2 – September 26. The K-8 Literacy Assessment Calendar indicates which assessments are required for district collection.

• Teachers new to DIBELS and easyCBM can sign up for trainings on the PPS Learning Campus for DIBELS (Sept 8 or 18 for K-1 and Sept 8 or 19 for 2-3) and easyCBM (Sept 12). 

• Important: If you are a new K-3 teacher and/or new to PPS, make sure you sign up for the DIBELS training. Please check in with your Principal and/or New Teacher Mentor with questions about how to register on the learning campus or how to book a substitute teacher to cover your class.

• Teachers previously trained are encouraged to review the online refresher modules for DIBELS and easyCBM prior to administration to ensure reliability of data collection.

• Kindergarten teachers are required to give the Kindergarten Readiness Assessment, but not the DIBELS assessment in the Fall.
